New Feature - Save Range

Hi Softperfect,

I really enjoy your Network scan utility.
I jumped over from Angry Ip Scanner because of the lack of vista support.

The only feature I'm missing in Softperfects software is the ability to save the ranges.
I end up scanning the same ranges very often but typing them takes so much time.

Let me know what you think about it.

David

It's already there, see the little arrow on the right of the Start Scanning button (yes, I know that's not evident smiling smiley)

If you run the network scanner from a USB drive or a removable drive, it's stored in a XML file in the same folder. If you run it normally from a hard disk drive, it's stored in the registry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SoftPerfect\Network Scanner\Common in the Ranges parameter.

I'm already very pleased now smiling smiley

But if you would ever run out of inspiration for new features.....
My suggestions:
- The ability to save a range + description in a favourites list like in IE
- The ability to export/import a txt/csv with ranges + descriptions

That would be killer features!!!

We'll make it favourites like it's made in IE, thanks for the suggestion! By the way, the network scanner supports multiple scanning profiles, so you can define multiple configuration files with the ranges needed.
