Procedure entry point could not be located   11 June 2014, 19:37

Hi,
Just upgraded from 5.3 to 5.3.1 and getting an error with both installer and portable versions: "The procedure entry point CRYPTO_memcmp could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll"
Any suggestions on a fix?

Thanks!
Martin

Seems to be connected to OpenSSL. I've installed the 64bit version from here and all is well: slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html

That's right. The error occurs on systems that have an outdated or corrupted installation of OpenSSL. Removing it or installing the latest version of the OpenSSL library fixes the problem.
