System tray icon not displaying after reboot   13 June 2014, 17:41

Hi,
Every time I reboot my computer the system tray icon is missing. I have to close the program and run it again to get the system tray icon back.
I am running the latest 5.3.1 32bit version on Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit.

Thanks
Rodney

I have the same problem 100% of the time on 1 of my Win8.1/64 machines, about 50% of the time on my second 8.1/64 laptop, and zero percent of the time on my Win8.1/64 desktop #2.
Oddly they are all running the same version of Windows 8.1, meaning they are all patched to the same exact version and running the 64-bit version of the OS. I am running the latest version of Networx 5.3.1 64-bit.
I've also tried using Revo Uninstaller, with advanced options turned on, to remove all trace of the software -- then reinstalled it. Same exact problem.

Try this advice (applies to both Windows 7 and Windows 8). It should both remove old icons and restore the normal operation of the NetWorx icon.

Hi,

I tried this and it worked for the first reboot, but now again after rebooting it's not displaying again. all my other system tray icons are ok.

Got the same problem with the Networx-icon (Win 8.1). Created a desktop icon, then clicked at this and for this session the small icon is active in the tray with all its functions. Not so elegant but it works ...
