Usage web-access

If you run a corporate or home network, you may want to let your users see their Internet usage. To make this possible SoftPerfect Bandwidth Manager contains a built-in web-server and enables users to access their usage reports remotely via a web-browser. The following configuration steps need to be done to use this feature:

1. Choose a port and activate the built-in web-server

2. Make sure the web-server has started

3. Point your web-browser to the URL http://your_server_name/display if you chose port 80, or http://your_server_name:port/display otherwise. You will be asked for a user name and password. Enter the rule name and password (blank by default) and note that both the rule name and password are case-sensitive. In this example the server name is amd64 and we access the rule named Test

4. After the successful authentication you will see the usage report, which can be customized. In order to do so, locate and modify the file default.htm in the installation folder.
