Configuration
The search engine provides a web-interface and so it requires a web-server. If you already have an IIS (Internet Information Server) or any other third-party web-server, then you probably do not need the built-in web-server. If you do not have a web-server installed on the computer then you can use the one that is built-in to Network Search Engine. The built-in web-server can only listen on port 80 and does not require any configuration. The built-in web server status is displayed and if it does not start up when you click Start then port 80 is probably in use by another application. Check the Windows event log for details.
