I've just downloaded the trail version of Print Inspector. I've mapped all my network printers to my test box. There are approximately 15 printers that I currently have mapped. I noticed that users are printing to printers yet when I view the history for the monitored printer it is empty. Does Print Inspector need to be installed on the print server directly to work efficiently?
i install printer inspector properly. but in history page it shows more print then i given. it shows double print in history page. if i give print of one page it shows 2 pages. so kindly send me proper soultion.
This a well know problem, but there is no solution. Unfortunately, Print Inspector is a highly hardware (printer) dependent product, with some printers it works fine, but with some it does not. That is why it is important to give the trial software a good test.
In your case, the printer driver reports the job as zero page or wrong number pages that results incorrect records. Sorry, but we can't fix that
