Not seeing IPs outside of the router default range   03 April 2015, 07:07

Hi,

The router is 192.168.1.1
Scanning 192.168.1.1-255 is straight up O.K. However, if I scan 192.168.0.1-255 it reports no IPs.

Is there a way see IPs here without changing the computer IP to 192.168.0.xxx? I have a camera which occasionally defaults to the factory IP and I never remember it.

Yes if you add a route to the router to that network. -WS

or

You could change to a /16 on your computer if it is not assigned by DHCP. -WS
