Remote registry: root key HKEY_CURRENT_USER not supported?   30 May 2013, 23:24

It's not supported because there is no current user when you connect remotely.

What if there is no user logged on the target computer? In this case HKEY_CURRENT_USER would be undefined.

What if there are two or more users logged on the target computer? In this case HKEY_CURRENT_USER would be undefined as well.

Besides HKEY_USERS contains everything you need anyway. -WS
