Hi Andrew,
Would it be possible to encrypt the user name and password as well as the SNMP community name within the netscan.xml? I've just realized that's it's saves it as plain text in my user profile area.
This would also apply to SPM's Registry values for SNMP community names also saved in clear text here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SoftPerfect\Switch Port Mapper\Devices

But can I take the netscan.xml to another system with the passwords working? I backup serverall config in case of a meltdown of my system and I want to know for sure I can rebuild and Netscan with those passwords still working
