With the release of 6.1.5, the way the last scan date is recorded changed. The old version used the last date the device was successfully scanned and found online. The new method is recording the last date the scan occurred, regardless of the status of the device. Screenshot of each are attached.
I can see rationale for either method, but personally found the old method better for my uses as it tells me a lot more about what is happening on the network. I wanted to get clarity on which method is the planned functionality going forward.

You are right, both methods can be useful so we have re-added the old way, which is now called Last Seen as it essentially showed when a device was last seen online. Please download the update.
