Conditional color formatting for column values 14 October 2016, 06:48 |
Hi Andrew and the SoftPerfect team,
Love this program and the flexibility it provides. Is there any possibility of being able to apply conditional formatting - primarily just a different background colour - to column cells? E.g. if cell value <> XXXX then change the cell background color to CCCC (similar to how the existing filtering works). Would make it much easier to visually identify items that aren't similar to others. Thanks

That's a great idea - added in the latest builds. Please test and let me know if you are happy with how it works.

Wow that was fast! Absolutely brilliant
Works great ... only thing I can think of that'd turn it up a notch would be the ability to add more than one condition (similar to the filter method, where multiple filters can be added), but how you've got it working now works great for what I need. Thank you!!

Hi Andrew. Please consider the ability to add more than one condition like in filters. In some special situations when you choose to enable a column with something like the following:
Example - Looking for a service like seclogon - Alternatives might be disable, manual, etc.... But admin needed to be auto.
column color - red
Condition - Does not contain
Value - auto
It works for everything else but also for empty cells. So to disregard those empty values a second condition might be needed.
