Feature request: Visible Columns arrangement   16 December 2016, 01:09

Hi Andrew,

Would it be possible to design some kind of easier arrangement method for visible columns. Don't misunderstand me column drag is splendid but there's some situations where a lot of columns need a different approach. Maybe in "Visible Columns Windows", where check marks selection are done. Maybe drag there or down and up arrow buttons may resolve the issue. Thanks.

Maybe top and bottom buttons. Or maybe assign numbers to columns and reassign automatically the position down on the list when user changes the number.

What about if we implemented drag-n-drop of multiple columns within the Visible Columns dialog? Or perhaps enhance it even more adding access to colouring and formatting from that dialog. Some users are unaware that one can change a column's background and font color.

1) If by "Drag-n-drop of multiple columns within the Visible Columns dialog" you mean to select more than one column for the drag would be really nice, it would improve and make the process of arrangement a lot easier.

2) Enhance it even more adding access to colouring and formatting from that dialog would be useful but please don't leave out the option to arrangement from the Visible Columns dialog.

Thanks

Added in the latest build. The enhanced Visible Columns dialog shows formatting and allows reordering of multiple columns at once.

Please let me know how it works.
