Shared folders access permissions

Shared folders access permissions   04 February 2018, 14:14

Have 8GB Ram, 64 bit Intel Core I5 2.90 GH, last premium version software. Just trying to see if all works ok on my PC.

Since I installed the software, it never appeared on shared folder security, shared readers, shared writers (download file).

Need your opinions/suggestions about this, should I be worried? How can I deny or it's not important and I shouldn't do that?

This simply means there are some shared folders on your computer and the Everyone user can read one or more of them, while only administrators can write.

It is generally up to you how to set the permissions, but if you don't want the that user to access your shared folder, here is a Microsoft article on how to set up access to a shared folder.

Sometimes you can find a solution faster if you try the forum search, have a look at the knowledge base, or check the software user manual to see if your question has already been answered.

Our forum rules are simple:

  • Write in English. If possible, check your spelling and grammar.
