How to scan the network to see all logged-in users

Started by Ziad

I need to scan all the network users when they login and logout. How can I do it with SoftPerfect network scanner?

You can do it by using the Live Display feature. Please see the user manual for more info on how to use it.
Great, thank you.
One more question: the network scanner is not showing all the the logged-in users. Only Windows XP users are displayed, while users of higher version of OS like Windows 7 or 10 are not. Why is that?

There is a number of various reasons. The most common one is that your current user doesn't have sufficient privileges (usually you would run the Network Scanner under a domain admin account).

Sometimes you can find a solution faster if you try the forum search, have a look at the knowledge base, or check the software user manual to see if your question has already been answered.
