Best tool for retrieving Symantec information 24 July 2018, 15:49

I am looking for a product that could pull Symantec information. Will SoftPerfect Network Scanner be able do that?

Our Network Scanner is fairly universal and can retrieve practically any information via WMI, HTTP, SSH, PowerShell as well as from Windows services, registry and files. So if there is a Symantec-specific service, registry key, a file or a web page, it should be able to pull information from any of them.

This is how I get the SEP client version. It works flawlessly.

Options - Remote Registry
HKEY local machine
Key: SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint protection\CurrentVersion

Make sure you select it before closing the window.

Then I use a filter to display versions not equal to the one I'm deploying.
I also added another column to display 32 or 64 bit.

You can copy the IPs and deploy your new packages depending on 32\64 mem addresses.
