Information feedback after a scan   10 June 2020, 13:25

Hi Support Team,

When I'm using the domain admin account to scan specific subnet to lookup like administrator and logon user information for Win10 endpoints, there is no information feedback after the scan.

The endpoints are installed with SEP 14.2. I don't know if there any relationship here, but I want to understand how to get the required information via Network Scanner.

I can see the log from target client that block 445 port access from source IP, but I can do ping with success from source PC to target PC.

If you mean that no information was retrieved in a particular scan, the most common reasons are firewalls or intrusion prevention systems, insufficient privileges or system settings. For more detailed advice, please mention what specific scan yields no results.

If your SEP refuses to accept connections to port 445, that would be the reason.
The fact that you can do ping only means that there is connectivity between the IP addresses. It does not mean that connections will be allowed and accepted.
