Hello
I think it's a shame that there's no password encryption. Especially nowadays with cyber security, passwords should be encrypted. For example, when opening Credential Manager, we should need a general password to access it. And when exporting the file, the passwords should also be encrypted.
Best regards

Thank you for your feedback. We have implemented encryption for configuration files in the latest builds. Now it encrypts the default configuration file, as well as any exported configuration. It can be set under File - Current Config - Set Master Password.
Once set, the master password will be required for starting the app and loading the configuration, and it will also be used for encrypting any exported configuration files. This means that you will be required to enter the master password every time you launch the Network Scanner app, not only when accessing the list of credentials. The reason for it is that the entire configuration file will be encrypted, and any stored passwords need to be decrypted for a scan to proceed.
If at some point in the future the encryption is no longer required, simply set a blank master password.

The latest builds support the /mpass:somepassword command line switch. We will add it to the documentation later on.
Therefore, if the config file is encrypted, you need to pass along /mpass:somepassword to decrypt it without a user prompt.
