How to check HASH values of SoftPerfect application files

We would like to cross-check the HASH value of a SoftPerfect application file that we downloaded, to verify its legitimacy. Is there any online page with published HASH values that we can use for our checks?

For the confirmation that a particular file was produced by SoftPerfect, it is best to check the Digital Signature tab in the executable file's properties instead of comparing hashes.

We do not maintain a database of hashes for every release and interim build, as these values would vary each time the file was altered, even for the smallest bugfix. With our large array of software products, and our daily efforts in improving them, it wouldn't be easy for our users to locate the correct hash, as such list would be very long. This is why we offer our Digital Signature for verification instead:

• Hashes are useful for confirming that two files are identical. However, they do not provide any information about the file's origin. A matching hash only proves that the file matches a known copy of the same file.
• Digital signatures provide both integrity confirmation and publisher verification. A valid SoftPerfect digital signature confirms that the file has not been altered and that it was signed using our certificate. For this reason, we consider the digital signature to be the superior method of verifying authenticity.
