Remote Shutdown Error: 53   07 March 2008, 13:09

When I try to remote shutdown a computer on my LAN it brings up a System Error: Code: 53 The Network path was not found. But when I scan for all ip's it shows it connected to my LAN. I have even tried opening up different ports on my router and still it brings up the error code. Any help? Please!!!

The remote PC has to have file sharing enabled and sometimes at least one folder shared. Otherwise, remote shutdown may not work.

You would need to read the network scanner's manual that lists the pre-conditions for this feature to work.
