BSOD on PC shutdown or Dismount   25 August 2012, 16:26

If I select to use Image [and Save to Image] option, I get a BSOD when I shutdown the PC.

I tried to first dismount the drive or close Ramdisk and then shutdown, but closing/dismounting ramdisk shows the BSOD.

I am using WIN 7 64 Bit.

This BSOD only shows up if I select to use the Image Feature.

Please try beta version 3.3.0 available from the home page.

the latest version 3.3.1
Win7ulti, 64bit 8gb ddr3 , i3 intel cpu, HM65 sandy bridge chipset - Lenovo laptop.

All up to date soft/drivers... blue screens at reboot after making 2 ram drives... 2gb & 512mb ntfs, 1.75g paging to the 2gb and about 170mb assigned IE temp files to the smaller.

Didn't save images,, worked once only then as soon as I make a change to the swap size.. blue's at restart right after bios screen fast. Cant stop the blue screen without a restore point.. tried Starup Repair and even a re-image to the boot and C drive.

I have the same problem with similar laptop. I have blue screen on OS boot, three or four times before the system can boot correctry, I made a ramdisk with 2Gb on FAT32 and put on it Windows TEMP files and Firefox Temp in the future I´ll move more files to it

Ever in Boot, never on system shutdown, i think the problem are windows temps files on it When the systems boot, the ramdrive is mounted too late and windows can´t find the files that need.

What you think about that?

I´m using version 3.3.2, I love this amazing software and I would like a solution for this problem.

My system: Win7 64bits , 8Gb ddr3, i7 CPU, HM67 chipset.

Thanks for all

This issue is unlikely to be caused by the Windows inability to find temporary files.

In order to help us identify and fix it, please enable the kernel memory dump as explained here.

See under To Configure Your Computer for a Complete Memory Dump or for a Kernel Memory Dump and enable Kernel memory dump.

Then once a crash occurs, please send us the MEMORY.DMP file (compress it and upload to a file sharing service).

Thank you.
