Unable to change a ramdisk as administrator in Windows 10

Started by suzman

I just took delivery of an ASUS RoG G752VY laptop with 32GB memory. It's running Windows 10 Home and has been operational for about 2 hours.

I have the only account on the machine and am an administrator. I installed SoftPerfect RamDisk and created a 16GB bootdrive in RAM but I now need to make some changes to it. When I try to run RAMdisk software it says I need to launch it as an administrator to effect any changes.

So my problem is: my account is an administrator account and even when I right click on RamDisk and select to run as an administrator it tells me I am an ordinary user and don't have sufficient privileges. Any suggestions?
