Is RAMDisk helping the game simulator?   26 September 2013, 03:53

Hi,

What I want to know if RAMDisk improve the simulation of Microsoft Train Simulator? I have to remember that the program of Microsoft Train Simulator is old and have not upgrade very much since 2002 not like Microsoft Flight Simulator which is very popular in games simulation.

Anyway I am not sure if that will help my computer which I have: Acer Aspire M3450-ER20P with Windows 7 64X operating system, 16GB memory rams, 2TB hard drive and ATI Radeon HD7570 1GB graphic card. That is why I am asking if that will improve the simulation of Train Simulator or not worth it.

Your help would be appreciated!

Thank you,

Probably not. Especially given it's old, it should just fly on a modern computer regardless of its specs.
