How is RAM Disk saved: the entire disk or only changed blocks?

Started by -rp-

Simple question: when the ram-disk gets saved to an image (either at shutdown or on a schedule), does it always save the entire content, or does it track what block was changed to only save those?

This could be good to know if you keep your image on an SSD drive...

Thanks.

Only changed blocks are saved, not the entire drive.
That was quick...

Thanks.
