Blue screen when booting with RamDisk   25 December 2016, 19:57

I have used ramdisk with Windows 7 for a long time. After upgrading to Windows 10 ramdisk would not work anymore.

Other software is not as good as this ramdisk. I did found out there was a update for Windows 10 support.

When I installed the RamDisk everything did run fine. The problem did start after restarting my system.

I did some troubleshooting.

I only get the error when I auto mount the image at boot and start to work.
I get a blue error screen on file portcls.sys

If my system is booted up. I dismount the image and remount it again. Then I can work as long as I want.

Did someone have the same problems?
Or do you need some information from my system?

It's hard to say what causes it, may be some kind of incompatibility in the boot process.

As you are saying it works fine if you mount it after booting, so may be try using a logon-time RAM Disk (rather than a boot-time one)?
