Executables on RAM FS drive cannot be opened 01 August 2026, 17:22

Executable (.exe) files cannot be opened on the RAM FS drive. When trying to open them, I see this error:

Windows cannot access R:\setup-260724_web.exe
Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose.
Error code: 0x800704b3
The network path was either typed incorrectly, does not exist, or the network provider is not currently available. Please try retyping the path or contact your network administrator.

This issue affected only executables that require administrator privileges and a UAC prompt. It has been fixed in RAM File System v26.8.

Please download the latest version. After installing the update, reboot your PC to ensure the new driver is loaded.
