Can Connection Emulator be used on virtual machines? 27 October 2013, 18:11

I am considering buying CE for testing of a system that will be used on a slow WAN. We will be using several virtual machines to simulate the system architecture.

Can CE be used on virtual machines? Is there anything special I need to know about virtual usage before running a test using the trial version?

Yes, CE works in a virtual machine in exactly the same way as on real hardware.

Run connection_emulator_setup.exe, click Next-Next-Next, done!
