WiFi Guard name

Just curious why this program is named "WiFi Guard" as it detects both wired and wireless devices connected to the network.

Could it be more aptly named "Network Guard"?

Because its primary purpose is to monitor wireless networks where there is a high probability of unathorised and undetected access.

In wired networks at home and in office environment it almost never happens, as it is much more difficult to get physical unauthorised access to hardware, plug in a cable and then run it through the building without anyone noticing smile
