The "locally administered address" comment appears for some devices (for example modern iPhones and Android phones) that use privacy features such as randomised MAC addresses. This is now common behaviour in recent versions of iOS and Android to enhance user privacy.
If you prefer not to see these comments, you have a couple of options:
- Upgrade WiFi Guard to version 25.6, which includes improved device identification and handles these cases more gracefully.
- Or, go to WiFi Guard Settings > Whitelisting, and untick the option "Automatically mark locally administered addresses as known".
You can also choose to disable private MAC addresses on your mobile devices (in the Wi-Fi settings for the specific network).
