Unable to connect to HP switch

Unable to connect to HP switch 14 May 2022, 11:50

Hi,

I'm interested in Switch Port Mapper. I can use it with Cisco switch, but I cannot connect to HP switch. I have tried all SNMP version options, but each time I get "Unable to connect to the device" error message. Could you please tell me how to connect to HP switch?

Does the HP switch actually have SNMP running and configured?

You can try a third-party console utility, SNMP Walk, to see if you can get any output from that switch. If not, there may be a switch configuration issue.
