Certificate Monitor suggestion: Avoid unnecessary re-scanning of all hosts

Certificate Monitor suggestion: Avoid unnecessary re-scanning of all hosts   16 July 2026, 11:04

Adding another host or editing a host "Display name" causes a re-scan of all hosts. I think this is a bit excessive when we have multiple hosts and are slowly adding more.

Suggestions:
- Only re-scan the host being added or edited.
- Option to right-click one of the selected hosts and request a re-scan for that specific host only.

Thanks for the suggestion. You were absolutely right that re-scanning every host on each add or edit was excessive, especially while you're building the list up gradually. We've implemented both of your points:
  1. Adding, editing, or duplicating a host now re-checks only that host, instead of triggering a full re-scan of everything.
  2. You can now re-check a specific host on demand. Simply right-click the host (or select several) and choose Refresh from the popup menu. The Refresh in the toolbar and the F5 key still re-check all hosts as before.
This is available now in the latest snapshot build if you'd like to try it ahead of the next official release.
