Sample setup for ISA2004 with BWM   21 June 2006, 21:04

server ip 192.168.100.254
lan ip 192.168.100.x-192.168.100.x gateway 192.168.100.254

can anyone give me a sample setting for limiting bandwidth for each workstation
i already tried different setting but none works,softperfect doesn't seem to intercept any traffic

do i need different setting for different configuration?,can any give me setting for nat with proxy,nat/proxy with firewall client
why does bandwidth manager lite works with (isa2004 together with win2003 sp1) while bandwidth manager doesnt?

Both must work as they are built on the same core. As to sample configurations, I can give you two:

NAT with or without proxy:
Rule #1: Client N1
 Protocol: TCP/UDP
 Direction: Both
 Source: 192.168.100.x (a client)
 Destination: Any IP address
 Interface: LAN (which points to the local network)

Rule #2: Client N2
 Protocol: TCP/UDP
 Direction: Both
 Source: 192.168.100.x+1 (a client)
 Destination: Any IP address
 Interface: LAN (which points to the local network)

and so on.

Proxy without NAT
Rule #1: Client N1
 Protocol: TCP/UDP
 Direction: Both
 Source: 192.168.100.x (a client)
 Destination: Local host
 Interface: LAN (which points to the local network)

Rule #2: Client N2
 Protocol: TCP/UDP
 Direction: Both
 Source: 192.168.100.x+1 (a client)
 Destination: Local host
 Interface: LAN (which points to the local network)

and so on.
