I have a question about bandwidth manager. I want to use your product in my network but I have a problem. I have a cache server on my gateway and I want to limit request from internet but don't limit request answers with cache.
My network :
1- I recieve internet with a modem.
2- I connect this modem to my router with 184.108.40.206 ( Valid IP )
3- I have a pc with windows 2000 that has 2 network card
3.1. Network card #1 has 220.127.116.11 ( Valid IP ) and connect to router with a switch
3.2 Network card #2 has 192.168.0.1 ( Invalid IP ). I am using ISA and NAT 18.104.22.168 to 192.168.0.0 . I run cache server (ISA) on this pc too.
4. Internet users connect to my network with LAN (192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.100)
Now, I want to limit my users to 10kbyte/s. I define my rules but access to cache will limited to 10kb/s. I want my users don't limit when their request answers with cache server.
The bandwidth manager is unable to provide fast access to local cache and throttled access to non-cached resources at the same time. When a user asks the ISA server to download anything, the server either returns the already downloaded object from its cache, or gets it from the Internet. But the bandwidth manager can't distinguish these events.
