Hi Andrew,i have request regarding Rate Limit in creating Rules, it would be awesome if you can include percentage (%) along with the selections Combined, Bytes/s ,bits/s, and quota. This percentage will be based on the unlimited value of the data rate. A Big Thanks if this will be added.

Erm, so how do we calculate say 50% of the unlimited value, which isn't a number?

Yes of course we cannot calculate the percentage of an unlimited value but if it can identify the throughput that the BWM is receiving that could be a good reference. For example, ISP of 10Mbps on 1 side and 1 computer on LAN side. when we say 50% of the unlimited value it would be 50% of the 10Mbps.

Unfortunately in practice we cannot reliably identify the maximum theoretical bandwidth between BM and ISP.

At the same time, you can easily update the rate limit in multiple rules. Say, if your ISP's line carries 10 Mbps, you can easily select some or all rules and set their rate limit to 5 Mbps.

There doesn't seem to be really a need to have percentage rates, let alone the technical implications in determining available bandwidth.
