Is this product suitable for giving dedicated bandwidth (up or down) to a VOIP system, something like a Vonage device?

It depends. Unfortunately, the current version of the bandwidth manager does not support dynamic bandwidth (re)allocation and guranteed rates, but it can be used if any other traffic could be shaped at a specifec rate and the rest is given to VoIP. For example, if you have a 1 Mbit connection, and your VoIP requires at least 200 Kbit, you may try to shape anything except VoIP at 800 Kbit. In this case, VoIP will always have at least 200 Kbit.

Sometimes you can get the answer faster if you try the forum search and/or have a look at the software user manual to see if your question has already been answered.
