Problem with importing & IP groups

Problem with importing & IP groups 26 January 2006, 09:25

I want to define a group with around 2000 addresses ranges and for that I've created a group named "Metro" with one IP addresses range (let's say 10.1.1.1 - 10.1.1.254).
Then exported the rules and datas to XML and looked for the entry for groups:

<groups>
<group id="921164375" name="metro">

10.1.1.1-10.1.1.254

</group>
</groups>

Then I created a script for adding the additional 2000 addresses ranges.So the part of XML look like this:

<groups>
<group id="921164375" name="metro">

10.1.1.1-10.1.1.254

89.32.177.1-89.32.177.254

89.32.178.1-89.32.178.254

89.32.32.1-89.32.39.254

89.32.44.1-89.32.47.254

</group>
</groups>

But when I try to import the modiffied XML file into the group "metro" I see only 95 addresses ranges instead of 2000.
If i manually add another addresses range this one is added (so I have now 96 instead of 95), so I don't think that the problem is related to maximum number of entries allowed.
Does anybody why the rest are not imported?

Thanks?

Please send me your modified XML file to e-mail support at softperfect.com and I'll check it.
Nevertheless, there is a limit of 255 ranges per group. Why not merge some entries? For example,

89.32.177.1-89.32.177.254

89.32.178.1-89.32.178.254

could be merged into

89.32.177.1-89.32.178.254

Thank you.
