alphabetical 'Rule Name'   21 February 2010, 02:57

Hello,

I have been running BWM version 2.8 (build 435) for a few years now.

Is there magic making the Rule Name column alphabetical????

Sure we can all simply click on the column header..... but I would like it saved and as the default.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

steve

it's better to NOT do that !!

I know you want this for just arrange them for viewing , not for processing.. isn't it?

but it's easy for you to see them arranged as they processed, ( who is first and who blocks what .. etc.. )

if you have many rules.. and want to find some rule ( or find a rule with part of it's name ) you can use "search" or [ Ctrl + F ]

THIS IS JUST MY SUGGESTION to you..

some members suggest to improve the search feature with tuning the search.. like search by IP or MAC or some sort of patterns , We hope to see this in the upcoming v3.0

Thanks for the reply,

Yes, it's just for processing in real time.

I have about 200 rules in place now and all is working well.

Thanks again

steve
