How to limit bandwidth on an FTP server from a specific subnet

Hello. I want to limit bandwidth on a FTP server from a specific subnet.

For example, I have a FTP server at IP 192.168.0.208. I want to limit the upload/downloads for the entire subnet 192.168.16.0 to 500Kbps. But I want all other subnets to have unlimited bandwidth when uploading or downloading from the FTP server. What would be the best configuration for this?

Limiting the FTP protocol is not easy, but can try. Basically you'll need to create a rule like this:
Direction: Both
Source: local host : port 20
Destination: 192.168.16.1 - 192.168.16.1 : any port
Protocol: TCP
Rate: 500 Kb/s
Interface: LAN
This however will not limit users using passive mode, because this mode of operation opens random ports at both ends. If this is a problem, you can limit all communications with to that subnet at 500 Kb/s, which will include FTP and other protocols using the following rule:
Direction: Both
Source: local host : any port
Destination: 192.168.16.1 - 192.168.16.1 : any port
Protocol: TCP
Rate: 500 Kb/s
Interface: LAN
