Right-align option for columns with numbers in the Usage Report

Started by uchix

In Excel, the default formatting for cells containing values / numbers are right-aligned, instead of left-aligned. I propose an option for setting this also in NetWorx Usage Report columns.

By setting this "Right-aligned columns" option, it would look e.g. like this:

..instead of the not-so-neat left-aligned columns that currently is the only option:

Slightly off topic but you should open the Hidden Settings and then set the "Use thousands separator" to "True" which makes reading the figures a lot easier. This should be the default IMHO (Andrew???) smile

I agree, it looks better with the thousands separator on; thank you for the tip! smile

About the topic - it is possible to right-align these columns, yes?
I have no experience in Delphi, but when looking at some pages, it seems there are some stuff that may work..:

taRightJustify
- instead of 'taLeftJustify'

alRight
- instead of 'alClient' or 'alLeft' / 'alBottom' / 'alTop'

I have made three changes in the new builds:

  • Automatic right-aligned numbers when a fixed volume unit is chosen.
  • The Use Thousands Separator option now defaults to on in new installs.
  • Fixed overlapping Y-axis labels in the bar chart.

Thanks for your feedback guys!
Ahh - now it looks just perfect! ok, yes, thumb uptick

Thank you very much for the super-quick response and fix! laugh
