Started by tjnapster555

There are a few virus, trojan and malware alerts in VirusTotal. Check this report:
Antiy-AVL Trojan/Win32.TSGeneric
Bkav W32.HfsAdware.79BB
Cyren W32/NetFilter-PUA.A.gen!Eldorado
ESET-NOD32 a variant of Win32/NetFilter.A potentially unsafe
F-Prot W32/NetFilter-PUA.A.gen!Eldorado
Ikarus not-a-virus:RiskTool.NetFilter
NANO-Antivirus Riskware.Win32.Vitruvian.eyibbu
Rising PUA.NetFilter!8.1F0 (CLOUD)
Webroot W32.Malware.Dkvt
Yandex Riskware.Agent!
I was astonished to see NetWorx as a riskware. Is it a false alarm? What shall I do?

This kind of alerts have nothing to do with viruses.
NetWorx uses a driver called NetFilter for filtering out local traffic. Unfortunately, this driver was also misused by others in some malware, that's why virus scanners are showing the warnings. If you are still concerned about these warnings, you can use the portable edition of NetWorx which doesn't include the driver, or simply choose not to install the driver when you are installing NetWorx.

For more information, here is an article about false positive malware detections.
NetWorx is perfectly safe, just make sure you ALWAYS download it from SoftPerfect.com website
