SuperAntiSpyware: reports Networx as PUP.NetFilter/Variant

Started by Ronald

Hi all,
Why would this program advise me to remove Networx? Is it really some PUP (potentially unwanted program)?
Thanks!

There are no viruses in NetWorx.
NetWorx uses a third-party driver called NetFilter for filtering out local traffic. This driver was also misused in malware, that's why some antivirus scanners display this warning. The driver itself is perfectly safe.

If this warning is a concern, you can use the portable version which doesn't include the driver or choose not to install it.
