Generic router name is shown in UPnP   08 February 2016, 04:15

Hi Andrew,

5.5.1 did fix most of the problems with UPnP monitoring but my Router Names still don't display properly like before on W 8.1. The generic name is displayed only.

Hope my donation was acceptable. laugh

Addition:
I have since updated my W 10 partition which has Build 14257.1000 on it, results are the same.
In case this helps, I am using the recommended TDI Hook driver on all of my partitions.

Best Regards,
Crysta

Hi Crysta,

Thank you very much for the donation wink

Regarding the generic router's name displayed, I have done a couple of fixes, so please try this build and let know if the correct name is back.

As to the TDI driver, it's only needed if you use the Ignore local traffic within the LAN option. Otherwise you can deselect it during the install, just to save some disk space.

Fixed it for me; Linksys EA4500, Win 10 Pro, hard wired LAN.
