The meaning of dial-up in NetWorx Usage Report

The meaning of dial-up in NetWorx Usage Report   12 February 2016, 02:23

What is the meaning of "Dial-up" in the Networx Usage report? I don't use any actual "dial-up" services ever, yet I see such usage on the report.

This might be answered elsewhere in this forum, but I couldn't locate the answer. Sorry.

There are 3 things that NetWorx may record as dial-up:
  1. Actual dial-up when you dial a number and use an analog modem
  2. Mobile broadband connection, usually through a USB dongle
  3. Some kind of VPN connection or another tunnel
Please take a look at the Dial-up Sessions tab, it may have connection names recorded that could shed light on it:
