No data usage is shown

No data usage is shown   02 December 2016, 19:33

For some reason it is not showing my usage. Under monitored interfaces, it is set to "all connections", but the IP and MAC address shows all zeros.

I tried uninstalling NetWorx and have downloaded the portable version and it is doing the same thing.

Probably your network adapter has the virtual adapter flag and may be hidden by default. In order to make it available, go to the hidden settings.

Scroll all the way down, set 'Physical adapters only' to False and restart NetWorx. Then choose your adapter under Monitored interface.

I'm showing usage in the portable version but no usage stats are shown in the Usage Report when I run the installed version...

The only difference I know of between the two instances is that I've ticked the box to "Ignore local traffic within the LAN" but I've forced internet activity that isn't being registered...

Monitored interface is "All Connections" and cannot be changed since I ticked the box to "Ignore local traffic within the LAN".

Sorry to bother you again...

The ENTIRE purpose behind all of this is that I'm trying to find out what application that's running on my daughter's computer is eating too much of our limited monthly internet usage of 150GB...

The portable version is showing usage but NOT by application...

The installed version has an application tab in the usage report but is NOT registering usage...

Catch-22...

It could be caused by another product that installs a similar driver for monitoring network traffic. In that case, there's a chance that NetWorx's driver will not receive any usage information.

As a workaround, you can try installing so called WFP driver instead of TDI as explained here.

I am not showing data usage. My data comes via PDANET over USB connection.

Will Networx work with this type of connection?
