Feature request: Option to group Applications by their name

I'd like to suggest a new feature: an option to group applications by their name.

Why I ask that? Because the path of some applications change depending on their version, which leads to dozens of duplicates when checking the usage per application.

For example Microsoft Teams is displayed multiple times. The same thing happens for other applications as well, such as Microsoft Outlook, Postman, Slack and many others.

Thanks for the suggestion - that definitely makes sense. As you noticed, when apps like Microsoft Teams get updated, they often install to a different folder. Since NetWorx tracks apps based on their full path, each version ends up showing as a separate entry. Technically it's a different file, but from the user's point of view, it's still the same app.

To help us look into how we could group these entries better, would you mind sharing your usage database? Just go to Usage Reports - Backup, zip the backup file, and send it to us.

That will give us a clearer picture of how the data is stored and how we might improve this.
