Discrepancy in numbers between Taskbar and Applications graph window 12 November 2025, 09:55

Could you please explain this big discrepancy in my download numbers between the graph in the Applications window and the Taskbar?

Most likely you are monitoring more than one network interface. The main graph shows real-time usage for a single interface, while the taskbar widget combines usage from all monitored interfaces.

Please open Settings - Main tab, and check which interfaces you are monitoring in the Mode section.

Thanks for the quick response.
I now chose "Monitoring of applications..." and "Only networks selected below...", and this turned off the double counting.
