Hi, I'm getting network freezes over LAN when transferring files or watching media from server running Bandwidth Manager. This happens at recurring intervals every 10 minutes exactly for a few seconds. Happening with latest version of BWM, but was also happening with last 2 versions as well. If I stop service and attach server to network like any other PC the problem goes away. My setup is W

Hi again tried latest version 3.1.7 (reduced rule-set and used free key), and it's having the exact same problem on start up. "The SoftPerfect Bandwidth Manager Service service failed to start due to the following error: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion." from event viewer. Yes license has expired that's why I'm still on 3.1.4. Just wondering if anything has changed with latest version that might have overcome that problem. As i said just started happening with Win 10 anniversary update.

Just tried setting service to manual start and created a scheduled task to start service 6 minutes after boot-up and that seemed to work. Tried 4 minutes first and no go so extended to 6. Think delayed start in services is 2 minutes

Since latest Win10 anniversary update the service fails to start even on delayed start up. Windows event viewer says failed to start timed out. If I wait 5 minutes or so after start up I can usually manually start service. Using version 3.1.4 on 64 bit win10.
