Interesting, I never met this issue before. Thank you for sharing the solution!

Well you can run Wireshark and see if there's any traffic to those MAC addresses or there isn't. I am afraid I can't see what's happening from here.
Re: Recommended Windows version for the latest Bandwidth Manager

We develop BM on Windows 8, though anything from Windows XP to Windows 10 or their server edition will do. Just try not to use it with a third-party firewall or antivirus software installed on the same server as the software may interfere with each other.

This means only the MAC addresses of 000AF36A7000 (unicast) and FFFFFFFFFFFF (broadcast) have been seen in the traffic. What's your configuration and what are you trying to achieve?

Probably the MAC address is not what you expect it to be. Make an Any/Any rule and then set the tracking mode to Destination MAC address. You should be able to see captured MACs in the main view as streams.

Unfortunately there wasn't much info in the DB to shed light on this issue. I went ahead and ran a test on Windows 2008 R2 x64 with the latest version, but everything worked as expected. The speed was up to 50 MB/s. I guess the culprit may be a combination of network drivers or a conflict with other software installed on your server. Since version 3.1.3 worked for you, I'd recommend to

Simply install the OpenSSL package and dropdown box will be available. You can see there's a message below the grayed box advising to do it.

There no history as such, but in the All Devices section there's the Last Seen column that says when a device was online. Regarding e-mail settings, please see the other topic.

Could you post here a screen shot how you set it up? It should be something like this, I highlighted the crucial parts:

Yes, the option activates the built-in network driver that filters out local communications, for example copying a file from computer A to computer B within the same network, whether it's WiFi or cable.

You can see the time of the day under Hourly Rates shown below. Unfortunately it can't tell you where it was downloaded from, but if you had the Ignore local traffic within the LAN option on, you can see what apps downloaded the data at the Applications tab.

I am not sure where to start, but let's have a look at your ruleset and log messages. Could you post here the .DB file from C:\ProgramData\SoftPerfect\Bandwidth Manager? Please compress it to a .ZIP file. By the way, what version of Windows are you running it on?

Yes, it is possible and our free Lite licence may be sufficient for your goal. You would need to install the software on that computer and then create a bandwidth control rule. The rule may look like this: Source: local host Destination: Group Rate: set as needed Protocol: IPv4 based You need to create a group and add the domain names to it. It's important to understand that the videos on
Re: NetWorx isn't counting Windows Store app data traffic

Unfortunately it's not up to us. NetWorx uses a third-party driver called NetFilterSDK and while its developer mentioned this issue will be solved, there's no set date.

It's a known issue, unfortunately Windows apps are not currently supported in the "Ignore LAN traffic" mode.
