Friendly names for comments or details

Hi how about another field like friendly name but this time for comments or details???

For example:

After assigning some friendly names like HP Color 5555, Xerox WC 5344, Brother 1700 maybe you would like to filter to know the quantity of Brother 1700

Great but in my case I have the same but like this:

HP Color 5555 - Engineering Department
HP Color 5555 - Manufacturing, ...

so filtering to know quantity can't be posible.

Maybe stripping the Details part to another field would help. Thanks!!!!!

Probably not.

You can use friendly names like "HP Color 5555 - Engineering Department" and then when filtering use the "Contains" condition, rather than "Equals".

So if you filter all rows that contain HP Color 5555, you will know their quantity, regardless of the department the printers are in.

1) Hi when trying to delete one friendly name this is what i got "Both Fields must be specified" . I make a mistake assigning a name to an empty ip address and i want to delete. Is possible???

2) When filtering for this two

HP LASER JET
HP COLOR LASERJET

If I put: friendly name contains HP LASERJET

It does not bring HP COLOR LASERJET

What I want is to filter, if posible ,HP + LASERJET to include all the ocurrences

1) Yes, go to Options - Friendly Names and delete one from there.

2) Just make it HP LASERJET COLOR, then a filter for "HP LASERJET" will include both.
