Live and dead hosts

Live and dead hosts 16 December 2013, 10:09

Hello, I have a big problem: when I try to scan the network, I get all live and dead hosts, live hosts with their real MAC Addresses and dead hosts with the gateway's MAC Address!

I have switched Ping mode to ICMP only and it's still showing live and dead hosts .. could you please help me with this problem?

Switching to the ICMP only scan mode should have fixed this issue. If it hasn't, I am afraid I don't know why it's happening. Perhaps your router responds to all ICMP ECHO packets, which makes netscan think every IP address behind it is live.
