Hi,
Firstly, thank you very much for the best RAMdisk in the Whole Wide World!
It seems to me that this function has a misleading title because what it changes is the TEMP and TMP folders of the Current User, not the system temp folder (which usually is c:\windows\temp).
To verify, do the following:
1) In SoftPerfect RAM Disk GUI, select Tools > Set Windows Temp Folder, and set something descriptive there, like c:\hello
2) From the Start button/Orb search the "SystemPropertiesAdvanced.exe", run it and once there press the "Environment Variables..." button. The c:\hello appear in the "User variables for CurrentUser" section (the CurrentUser is the login name of the user who is currently logged in).
3) Then scroll the "System Variables" list downwards and the TEMP and TMP paths come into view, they are not set by the SoftPerfect RAM Disk GUI.
It would be nice if both user and system TEMP and TMP variables could be set in the SoftPerfect GUI.
